Training & Assessment

Program Content:

  • Induction: Registration and submission of required documents.
  • Corrective Training: Minimum 3-hour session to refine skills and address any unsafe practices.
  • Theory Test: 45-minute exam covering regulations, safe practices, and equipment. Achieve 70% to pass, with credits awarded for higher scores.
  • Practical Test: Demonstrate skills with a crane, handling various loads and completing tasks within a time limit. Detailed equipment and grading criteria provided.

Feedback and Certification:

  • Successful Candidates: Receive CSCS card and FETAC certificate; potential for an overall credit.
  • Re-assessment: Feedback provided; reattempts may be necessary for incomplete sections.
