Training Content
- Theory: The theoretical component covers essential topics such as MEWP categories, safety regulations including ISO 18878, PUWER, LOLER, and RIDDOR, and the structural parts of Scissor Lifts. Participants will complete a pre-course theory test to assess their understanding of these concepts. The course emphasizes safe operating methods and hazard identification, ensuring that participants are well-versed in the necessary regulations and safety standards.
- Practical: Hands-on training involves operating the Scissor Lift, performing pre-use inspections, and addressing any practical issues that arise. Trainees will demonstrate their competency in a practical assessment, applying their theoretical knowledge to real-world situations. Requirements
- Certification: Successful trainees receive all relevant course certification
- Requirements: Trainees must be at least 16 years old and medically fit to operate machinery. They are required to bring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a helmet, safety boots, hi-visibility vest, harness, and adjustable restraint lanyard, to ensure compliance with safety standards during the training.

- Extra Categories: Additional categories such as 3b for Mobile Boom machines and 1b for Static Booms can be included in the training upon request. This allows for a more comprehensive skillset across different MEWP types.
