Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Sales
– Develop and execute a commercial strategy to grow revenue and profitability.
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities, sectors, and strategic partnerships.
– Lead client acquisition and retention efforts, including B2B outreach and account management.
– In conjunction with the business director, oversee pricing strategy, proposal development, and tender submissions.
– Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales tactics and positioning.
– Manage CRM systems and sales pipeline reporting.
Operational Leadership
– Ensure efficient delivery of training services, including scheduling, resource management, and trainer coordination.
– Implement scalable operational processes to support business growth.
– Maintain compliance with health & safety and training regulations.
– Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and customer experience.
– Collaborate with finance and marketing teams to align operations with commercial goals.
Qualifications & Experience
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial or sales leadership role, ideally within training, education, or professional services.
– Proven ability to grow revenue and manage client relationships.
– Strong understanding of operational management and service delivery.
– Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
– Proficiency in CRM and business analytics tools.
