Forklift Training Courses – City & Guilds
KTC Safety provides Forklift Training and Assessment courses throughout Ireland. Our courses are certified by City & Guilds, an internationally recognised certification accepted in countries including Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Australia, New Zealand, Iraq, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Upon successful completion, candidates will receive a City & Guilds Certificate and a Plastic I.D Skills Card, valid for up to 5 years before a refresher is required.
City & Guilds Approved Forklift / Lift Truck Training Courses:
Counterbalance Lift Trucks
- B1 – Up to & including 5,000kg
- B2 – 5,001kg up to & including 15,000kg
- B3 – Over 15,000kg
- Various attachments: Big bag handler, bucket, forks, grab/rotator, personnel platform, rotator, sideshift, tipping skip.
Industrial Telescopic Lift Trucks
- J4 – Up to 9m lift
- J5 – Over 9m lift
- Various attachments: Bale grab, bale spike, big bag handler, bucket, crane/loading jib, forks, grain pusher, manure forks/grab, personnel platform
Reach Lift Trucks
- D1 – Up to and including 8m
- D2 – Over 8m
Rough Terrain Masted Lift Trucks (J1)
- Various attachments: Bale grab, bale spike, big bag handler, bucket, crane/loading jib, forks, grain pusher, manure forks/grab, personnel platform
Rough Terrain Telescopic Lift Trucks
- J8 – Articulated, rough terrain, with or without stabilisers
- Various attachments: Bale grab, bale spike, big bag handler, bucket, crane/loading jib, forks, grain pusher, manure forks/grab, personnel platform
Side Loader Lift Trucks
- C1 – Up to & including 5,000kg
- C2 – 5,001kg up to & including 15,000kg
- C3 – Over 15,000kg
